Although the foundation is currently not pursuing that goal right now, the DAO team is working on an experimental VR build.
The Decentraland Foundation has that as a more long term goal, the focus is right now on polishing and stabilizing the existing client, but we're looking at VR and Mobile as the next steps in the future.
