While testing the new client in Argentina I took a picture of a parcel (-80,-149) and commented how they were so close, yet so far away from the new ocean. After I returned, I found that that specific parcel does in fact border the map, but the ocean is still 2 parcels away from it. If you look closely at the two versions of the in-world map, you'll see that there is a "buffer" area of land surrounding the entire DCL map visible in the "satellite" mode. But if you switch to the "Parcels View", that buffer does not exist.
On the map on the marketplace it looks like parcels on the border of the map will be right next to the new ocean, when in reality, they are all going to be 2 parcels away from the ocean. Meaning, no one will be able to have "oceanfront property" in Decentraland as it remains right now.
The best option (in my opinion) is to remove or reduce the size of this land buffer so that land on the edge of the map borders the ocean. I fear that there will be significant disappointment for users excited for this new feature if "Oceanfront Property" is still two parcels away from the beach.
Thank you in advance for your time and attention!!! :)
